And Cora Mae's dining room table, buffets and chairs still sit in the dining room awaiting our breakfast guests.

Other additions and improvements were added as the years went by.

By 1899 a great room, and servant's quarters as well as kitchen had been added to the house.  Ask the Innkeepers to tell you the story of the house progression.  Most of the inside walls are three bricks thick and the walls are the original horse hair plaster.  In the 1980's the house was placed on the

National Register of Historic Places.
The house was passed down through the original family until 1995 when it was sold.  Our Innkeepers purchased the house in 2007.  The house had been sitting vacant for two years and was in need of a great deal of tender loving care and restoration.

The Victorian beauty is again ready to welcome and entertain visitors.
Gordon and Susan, innkeepers, pride themselves on making their guests feel at home from the first moment they step into this historical Victorian.
Come visit

and sit on the porch for awhile
and let the cares of the world slip away.
